Dear District XVI Marching Band Directors:

First of all, I apologize in advance for the numerous emails and confusion regarding Marching Band Festival.  Fortunately, the conflict with the number of sites available has been resolved and we now have two sites scheduled on each day.

Tuesday October 12 - L'Anse Creuse HS-North (Jeremy Duby) & Port Huron HS (Dan Griffith)

Wednesday October 13 - Sterling Heights HS (Anthony Imbrunone) & Warren Mott HS (Erik Miller)

Updated registration information is attached.  I have also requested that these documents be posted on the MSBOAXVI website as soon as possible.  Forms must still be postmarked by Wednesday September 15 via registered or certified mail.

If you have already mailed your application materials and would like to change your site request preferences, please contact me as soon as possible via email or phone with your requests by September 15.  There is no need to re-send any forms.

Thank you for your patience in this matter and for allowing me to serve you.

Dear MSBOA Members:

We have a need for all MSBOA members to advocate for the arts through out the State.  MSBOA asks that you have at least 10 active parents enroll by using the following link to gain valuable information regarding the happenings within the State Senate, House and Governor's office.  This will help these parents better encourage our Legislators to solve the school funding crisis as opposed to delaying any solution further and causing disruption for our students' education in all areas including music.  Please help MSBOA help you by directing your active parents to this link.  We would also encourage you to go to this link, as it will help you to stay informed.

Sincerely,

MSBOA
